Why Sterling
Reconstruction is the repair phase. Once your mitigation company has finished the dry-out, we rebuild what was damaged or removed and keep the whole process transparent and organized.

It's the repair work that starts after your mitigation company finishes the dry-out. Depending on the approved scope, it may include insulation, drywall, flooring, trim, cabinetry, paint and other repairs.
The repair plan, insurance review, agreement on the scope of work, and payment may all affect when the work can move forward. We keep you updated at every step.
Itemized Xactimate repair estimates built from real measurements, notes and photos, ready for your review and, where applicable, your insurance claim.
From small residential homes to large commercial buildings, our team brings the latest technology and techniques to every reconstruction project.
The Reconstruction Steps

Step 1 of 6
After your mitigation company has finished and the affected areas are released for repairs, a repairs contractor visits your home, takes pictures, measurements, and notes, and creates a repair plan. We also review next steps, collect your deductible, and get your authorization.
Once the scope of work and budget are agreed on, repairs move forward until the home is put back together. If new problems are found, a supplement may be needed. We close out with a final walkthrough to take care of any remaining items.
Reconstruction is not the same as mitigation. Mitigation is the emergency dry-out phase, handled by a separate mitigation company before we begin. Reconstruction is the repair phase, and that is our work. Scope agreement, payment timing, and hidden damage can affect the schedule.
